not to worry, i found a fix. smiley gave me a clue. there is a post about how to delete the latest patch and that will revert the game to the 19 one. So, just go to this location on the system drive C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\CallofDuty4MW\bin and delete the cod4x_020 file (i think that's the name) DO NOT DELETE THE cod4x_019 file, that is the one that will run the game back to 19.3 patch, I just tried it and it works. https://cod4x.me/index.php?/forums/topic/5535-cod4x-version-downgrade/

Hi everyone! I had gone the long route, before you all posted any info on deleting a file.The long route for me, was, un-installing all of COD4, then doing a clean re-install of it, and updating server patches.So far, I am now a version of COD4 patched to 1.7, and now, I am stuck, only so many servers appear in the list, and FNRP is not in my list.Who has the server patch update, to get me, back on track, back in the game ?
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Lo cal\CallofDuty4MW\bin does not exist in windows10, all COD4 files are in here ( C:\Pro gram Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare ) that includes the 'hidden files' of COD4 also.
